Ashley Strickland got her inspiration for TwigKids from one of
the first self portraits that she drew of herself as a child. She
decided to create a doll version of the drawing because it made
her laugh and it also represented the innocents of her young mind.
These adorable dolls have evolved over the years and have expanded
into a line of animals.
Once Ashley decided to fully commit to "TwigKids", she wanted to give them a purpose. Her love for the outdoors and her passion for the conservation of nature, made coming up with that purpose very easy. The Twig Kids promote environmental consciousness that people of all ages can relate to. For more details on how they go about doing so, check out the children's books!
